Based in the western Loire Valley, Domaine de la Touche was established in the 1970s and has been a family-run winery ever since. At its inception, Marquis de Goulaine owned the estate, and invited his cousin Baudouin to join him in producing wine. Baudouin was an economist by trade, but his heart was in the vineyards.

Shortly after, Baudouin took ownership of the estate in 1981, with his son Victor joining him in 2017. Keeping with tradition, the father and son team work with the utmost care in all stages of production, to achieve the best possible results showing the most purity of fruit.

Due to Domaine de la Touche’s close location to the Lac de Grand-Lieu and the Atlantic ocean, they enjoy a unique micro-climate that is well suited to growing white grapes. A cool growing season allows a full expression of flavor, while maintaining freshness.
