Proidl's 2014 Riesling Auslese Senftenberger Rameln offers a very clear, elegant, delicately concentrated, rather subtle and stony bouquet, with grapefruit, raisin and spicy flavors. Sweet, finesse-full and highly delicate on the piquant and refined palate, this is a highly elegant, extraordinary filigreed, precise and minerally piquant Austrian Auslese; it also has a pure and salty finish. Bottled with 8% alcohol, this is a very quaffable and food-friendly Auslese on top quality level.

Penetrating pungency and bright juiciness of lime and tangerine are reinforced by yeasty aromatic prickle. Suggestions of rowan and almond extract emerge flatteringly as this takes on air. Silken in texture, it finishes with invigorating tang, mouthwatering salinity, and impressive grip and penetration.
