JB Neufeld Cabernet Sauvignon Yakima Valley 2013

Wine Advocate: 90pts

Also outstanding, the 2013 Yakima Valley Cabernet Sauvignon checks in as a blend of 91% Cabernet and 9% Cabernet Franc, all of which spent 23 months in new French oak. As with the Dubrul Vineyard, it was harvest all in October. Menthol, cassis, black cherries and incense all emerge from this medium to full-bodied, nicely concentrated 2013 that has ripe tannin, good mid-palate depth and notable purity. It should drink beautifully over the coming decade.
